Leading Women Awards

The Leading Women Awards (LWA), launched for the first time in 2016, puts the spotlight on women that are demonstrating exceptional leadership and contribution to the advancement of the SDGs within WBCSD member companies. These awards were launched to contribute to the goals of SDG 5, which aim to achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls by 2030.

We announced the fourth edition of the Leading Women Awards (LWA), designed to recognize outstanding female leaders and to showcase their work in sustainability towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). For the first time, one category was open to nomination from non-members companies as well, to recognize women from businesses all over the world who have been leading with passion and impact in the face of the COVID-19 crisis.
